This was always my favorite cookie that my mother made when I was growing up.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
cinnamon sugar mix
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F
Cream butter
Add sugar gradually
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
Add vanilla
Beat until light and fluffy
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda
Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
Drop by heaping tsp on a well greased cookie sheet, well apart. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture
Bake in hot oven 400F 10-12 minutes
