Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups quick oats
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon milk
12 oz white chocolate chips
2 tablespoon shortening


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Sift together flour, soda, salt and cocoa. Add to butter mixture, stirring until thoroughly combined. Batter will be stiff.


Stir milk and vanilla into eggs, then stir into butter mixture until combined. Add chocolate chips and oats. Stir until mixed.


Drop on greased cookie sheets by tablespoons. Bake 9-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.


Melt white chocolate and shortening in double boiler. Dip edge of cooled cookie into warm chocolate. Place on waxed paper and cool completely.
