Why I Love This Recipe
Merry Christmas - Nancy Scherich - 1994
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 lg. Hershey chocolate bar grated
(optional 1 tbsp. corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla)
Make 2 9x14 pans out of aluminum foil.
Cook in heavy frying pan: butter and sugar, stir constantly until golden brown = 10 minutes. Work quickly.
Pour into one pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of the choc. on top and spread with knife. Sprinkle 1/2 of the nuts.
Lay second piece of foil over top and flip over. Repeat chocolate and nuts.
Takes 1 hour to set up. Pound with knife handle to break up.
