Why I Love This Recipe
I was pregnant with my son and craved cake all the time. Well one day I craved something with apples so I found this old family recipe and was hooked. Now my son Nicholas says this is his favorite cake.
Ingredients You'll Need
7-8 apples sliced
4 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350*
Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
slice, core and peel apples.
layer the apples on bottom of the pan.
Mix in a large bowl the eggs, oil, sugar, and vanilla.
mix in a smaller bowl 1 cup flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder
add flour mixture to the large bowl.
mix well
pour over apples.
