Why I Love This Recipe

This a mild very versatile sauce, you can spice it up easily and toss with a variety of vegetables for a delicious meal.

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 hemp seeds
1/2 cup water
2 soft medjool dates pitted
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp minced ginger
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 garlic clove
pinch of sea salt
cayenne pepper or chipotle chili powder to reach your level of heat


Directions

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
Thin to desired consistency with water.

If you are not going to use all of the sauce within 3 days - freeze in a ice cube tray - store in a zip lock bag in your freezer.


Pairs Well With

Pairs well with shredded or spiralized Red cabbage, Carrots, Zucchini, Yam, Red pepper, Fresh peas, Green onions.
