Why I Love This Recipe

An old family fav passed down....

Ingredients You'll Need

3/4 lb. butter (3 sticks) softened, room temp
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
Cookie press or pastry bag with large star tip

Preheat oven to 375*F.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream butter then slowly mix in granulated sugar. Add the eggs. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt; gradually add to sugar mixture and mix well. Add vanilla.

Fill cookie press or pastry bag with a 1/4 of the mixture at a time and pipe cookies onto a un greased cookie sheet and space them 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and allow them to cool at least 10 minutes on the cookie sheet then they can be transferred to a wire rack to completely cool. Once cooled, dust cookies with the powdered sugar. Store cookies in an airtight container.
