Ingredients You'll Need
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (8 0z.) pkg. pitted dates
1 ( 6 oz.) jar maraschino cheries, drained
Confectioners sugar
Directions
Combine the eggs and vanilla
Beat well
Add the sugar and the flour sifted with the salt and baking powder
Blend well
Stir in the nuts and the fruits
Bake in a greased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan in a moderate oven (350) for 30 minutes
Cool in the pan on a wire rack
Cut in 2 inch squares
Sprinkle with the sugar
