"Dessert, Oat Meal/ Chocolate Chip Cookies"

Serves 2 dozen | Prep Time 15 minutes | Cook Time 10 minutes

Why I Love This Recipe

I chose this recipe because it is short and very easy to make, and doesn't take that long to make.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 stick Softened Butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 cups of Oats
1 cup of Chocolate Chips


1.) Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cover baking sheet with foil.

2.) In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars, until creamy.

3.) Add in egg and vanilla, beat well.

4.) In separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

5.) Gradually add in dry ingredient mixture, to creamy mixture/ beating.

6.) Add oats and mix well with a rubber spatula.

7.) Add chocolate chips and fold in with a rubber spatula.

8.) Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto covered baking sheet.

9.) Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden, then cool 1 minute on baking sheet.

Pairs Well With

Hot Cider, or Milk
