Why I Love This Recipe

I chose this recipe because it was a quick recipe. I also enjoyed it because I love anything with chocolate in it.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 stick butter (softened)
1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. oats
1 c. chocolate chips

1.) Preheat oven 350 degrees + cover baking sheet in foil.

2.) In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugars until creamy.

3.)Add in egg and vanilla and beat well.

4.) In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

5.) Gradually add in dry ingredient mixture to the creamy mixture by beating together.

6.) Add in oats and mix well with a rubber spatula.

Pairs Well With

A nice cold glass of milk.
