Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe came from my mother-in-law who is now deceased. These are very good cookies I hope everyone likes them as much as we do.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 heaping teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon baking soda
4-5 teaspoons of milk

Directions

Dissolve 1 teaspoon soda in 4-5 teaspoons of milk. (The amount depends on how moist your dough will be) Mix dry ingredients as you do in a pie crust. Beat 2 eggs and add the eggs and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix together well.

Form into balls with hands and flatten slightly on a cookie sheet.

Lightly spray cookie sheet or use a baking sheet. I bake mine at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. I usually do mine for 8-9 minutes then you will have a moist cookie.
