Why I Love This Recipe

I have lived in the USA since 1958, but still cannot get used to how Americans prepare oatmeal. I still prepare it the Dutch way. My wife who was born and raised here looks forward when I prepare oatmeal.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 1/2 cups 2% low fat milk
1 1/2 cup Quaker Oats
1/4 cup raisins
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Bring milk to a boil while stirring frequently.

When milk is boiling, add raisins and oats;cook on medium heat for about 7 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add cinnamon and stir. Add palm sugar or raw sugar to taste.

Smaaklijk Eten!
