Olivia's Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients You'll Need
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 egg yolk
1 yellow, white or devil's food box Betty Crocker™ cake mix
Cream butter and cheese. Blend in egg yolk and vanilla. Add cake mix dry, 1/3 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
(if mixer is used, add last 1/3 of mix by hand.). Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 375°F.
Drop by level teaspoon onto uncreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Optional: Can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
