One Pot Chicken and Rice

Why I Love This Recipe
Nothing could be easier or more versatile than this one-pot chicken and rice. Season however you like, use fresh garlic and half a medium onion sautéed and added to mixture. A squeeze of fresh lime or lemon to the mix to brighten up the dish. Ingredients You'll Need
48 oz. Carton of Swanson Chicken Broth
5-6 Chicken Breasts or 8 Chicken Drumsticks
1 Stick of Butter
Choice of Seasonings:
Goya, pepper, Slap Ya Mama (creole), Garlic powder, etc.
2 Cups White Rice (uncooked)
Pour Chicken Broth into a large pot. Add 1 stick of butter and any seasonings.
Add Chicken (drumsticks) and cook for 50 min. on Med-high heat.
When chicken is tender, add rice. Cook on low and stir as needed until broth has boiled down.
