One Pot Chicken and Rice

Nothing could be easier or more versatile than this one-pot chicken and rice. Season however you like, use fresh garlic and half a medium onion sautéed and added to mixture. A squeeze of fresh lime or lemon to the mix to brighten up the dish. The best part of this recipe is how user friendly it is, if you are one who likes to play around in the kitchen, this recipe is for you.
Ingredients You'll Need
48 oz. Carton of Swanson Chicken Broth
5-6 Chicken Breasts or 8 Chicken Drumsticks
1 Stick of Butter
Choice of Seasonings:
Goya, pepper, Slap Ya Mama (creole), Garlic powder, etc.
2 Cups White Rice (uncooked)
Directions
Pour Chicken Broth into a large pot. Add 1 stick of butter and any seasonings.
Add Chicken (drumsticks) and cook for 50 min. on Med-high heat.
When chicken is tender, add rice. Cook on low and stir as needed until broth has boiled down.
