Orange Glazed Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Why I Love This Recipe

Pork tenderloin is a favorite because the meat is always tender and flavorful. Also because Pork tenderloin is so versaltile and cooks relatively quickly.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb. pork tenderloin
1/3 c. GF soy sauce
1/3 c. orange marmalade
1/3 c. honey
1 T. + 1 t. rice wine vinegar
pinch of crushed red pepper (optional)
2 green onions, thinly sliced
olive oil to coat pork


Make marinade by combining soy sauce, marmalade, honey, vinegar, and red pepper in a small bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes or until boiling. Continue microwaving at 30 second intervals if needed to bring to boil. Set aside to cool. Put tenderloin in a plastic bag and add half of marmalade mixture to bag to marinate. Marinate for an hour or longer. Reserve remaining marmade mixture for grilling and serving. Preheat grill. Turn one side of grill to low heat while other side remains on high heat. Remove tenderloin from marinade and rub over all with oil, sear on hot side of grill on all sides. Remove tenderloin to low heat side of grill and continue cooking until instant thermometer reads 145F. About 25 minutes. Tent with foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Slice tenderloin in thin slices and drizzle with reserved glaze to serve. (on the hot side of the grill, I ususally put it to use by grilling a vegetable such as asparagus.)
