Why I Love This Recipe
This is one of my favorite cookie recipes, they taste just like creamsicles!

Ingredients You'll Need
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 cup vanilla chips (or white chocolate chips)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter with the sugars until smooth, about 3 minutes.
Add the egg and mix well.
Add the flour mixture and beat thoroughly.
Stir in the orange zest and vanilla chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving several inches between for expansion. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Cool the cookies on the sheets for 1 minute, then remove to a rack to cool completely.
Makes 2-3 dozen.
