Why I Love This Recipe

Can be made ahead and add dressing just before serving.

Submitted by: “Candace Sailstad Jackson”

Recipe was handwritten by Pat Sailstad in her recipe box. It is her version of a recipe she found in the newspaper.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 pound coleslaw mix or broccoli mix (in produce department)
3 green onions - chopped
1/2 cup sunflower kernels
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1 package of Ramon (small) dried soup noodles - oriental flavor
1/2 cup oil (canola)
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp vinegar (white)
Flavor package from oriental Ramon mix

Directions

Combine coleslaw or broccoli mix with green onions, sunflower kernels, and silvered almonds.

Top with Ramon, breaking the uncooked noodles a part.

Make the dressing by mixing the canola oil, sugar, vinegar, and Ramon flavoring together.

Poor dressing over the greens.
