Easy two-day or one cinnamon roll recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

Dough:
1/4 cup lukewarm milk
1 tbsp. active dry yeast
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 1/4 tsp kosher salt
3 large eggs beaten in a bowl
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsalted butter

Cinnamon Roll Filling:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup ground cinnamon
3 tbsp light or dark brown sugar
3 tbsp white granulated sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt

Cream Cheese Glaze:
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
4 oz. cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
1 tbsp. heavy cream


Directions

To Make the Dough:
To the bowl with a stand-up mixer (alternatively, you can do this in a large bowl by hand), add the lukewarm milk. Mix the active dry yeast and allow to stand and active, about 8 minutes, until foam and alive.
