Why I Love This Recipe
This is a very simple but tasty soup. You can switch the type of bean but I stick with the recipe.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 cloves of garlic
2 TB olive oil
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
1 cup water
16 oz cannellini beans
1 TB fresh chopped parsley
1/2 lb ditalini precooked
Directions
This is a very simple but tasty soup. You can switch the type of bean but I stick with the recipe.
PASTA FAGIOLE
Brown 2 cloves chopped garlic in 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Add 1 8oz can tomato sauce, 1 cup water, bringing to boil & reduce to simmer.
Add 1 16oz can white cannellini beans (drained)and 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley or 1 tsp. dried, simmer another 10 mins.
Add 1/2 lb cooked ditalini or small shells or elbow pasta.
Simmer additional 5-10 mins, until heated through.
Sprinkle with grated Parmasan cheese, serve with crusty bread.
