MY MOTHER IN LAW GOT THIS RECIPE IN A NEWS PAPER IN PEORIA, ILLINOIS IN THE 70s. SHE STARTED MAKING THEM FOR MY HUSBAND AND NOW SHE SHOWED ME THE RECIPE AND HOW SHE MADE THEM AND NOW I MAKE THEM FOR MY HUSBAND AND THE KIDS AND WITH HIM DEPLOYED IN AFGHANISTAN I SENDTHEM TO HIM....THEY ARE HIS FAVORITE


Ingredients You'll Need

1 C. CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER

1C. CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER

1 STICK BUTTER

6 C.RICE CRISPIES CEREAL

1 LB POWDERED SUGAR

1 PKG CHOC. CHIPS


Directions

1) MELT BUTTER; IN A LARGE BOWL MIX ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR THE CHOC. CHIPS.


2) MIX WELL UNTIL POWDERED SUGAR IS NO LONGER VISIBLE, FORM IN TO SMALL LOGS.


3) MELT CHOC. CHIPS, THEN SPREAD CHOC, OVER TOP OF LOGS AND THEN REFRIGERATE TO LET COOL AND LET CHOC. HARDEN.
