"A very tasty Philly cheese meatloaf"

Why I Love This Recipe

Who doesn't like philly cheese steak. Now try it in this meatloaf form


Ingredients You'll Need

Meat mix:
3 Lbs ground beef
2 eggs
garlic powder
salt and pepper
parsley
Opt: grated parmesan cheese
Opt: 1/2 - 1 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning mix
Regular seasoned bread crumbs (not italian seasoned)

Stuffing mix:
sliced provolone cheese
1 yellow cooking onion cut in 1/2 then sliced
1 green pepper sliced
Opt: Sliced button mushrooms
a lil butter to fry veggies

Topping:
provolone cheese slices


Directions

Meat mix:
in a bowl add eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, opt: grated parmesan, opt: oregano and beat together. pour over ground beef and mix together add garlic powder then add breadcrumbs and mix all together. divide in 1/2 put one 1/2 in baking pan in kinda meatloaf shape take a glass and lay it in the center lengthwise and push down a lil to make a U shape depression make sure there's meat on all sides so stuff in center don't leak out
Stuffing mix:
Fry onions, green peppers and opt: mushrooms in a lil butter lay provolone slices in depression. fill w/ veggies and top veggies with more provolone slices. Cover with other 1/2 of meat mix making sure not to squish out any of the stuffing and smooth and seal whole thing out with your hands shaping into meatloaf shape. Bake at 350F until done top with provolone cheese and put back in oven only long enough to melt cheese
