1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
Directions
Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars (except the 1/2 cup of sugar). Beat in eggs.
In a seperate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into batter. Put batter in regrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls on a baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar onto the cookies.
Bake in the oven at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
