Why I Love This Recipe

A good easy dessert

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, slightly softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon heavy cream

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter and granulated sugar together until light and creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and whisk until combined.
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and heavy cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Dollop the peanut butter mixture over the brownie batter and swirl it through the batter with a knife or toothpick.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool the brownies completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
