Ingredients You'll Need
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup water
3/4 pound fresh broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
2 teaspoons garlic olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
3 medium carrots, shredded
1 1/2 pounds small fresh mushrooms, slices
Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well.
Coat a wok or large heavy skillet with oil; heat a medium-high until hot.
Add onion; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Add broccoli and carrot; stir-fry 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Add mushrooms; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Stir in cornstarch mixture; cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened.
