"How to make perfect hard boiled eggs"

Serves 2-12 Eggs | Prep Time | Cook Time 11 minutes

Why I Love This Recipe

Hard boiled eggs: A quick online search for boiling eggs resulted in this quick technique. The first time I tried it, I found that it was indeed a perfect method, as the shells just flake off when cracked, and the yolk was always perfectly yellow!

Ingredients You'll Need

2 - 12 Eggs
Saucepan with tight fitted lid

Place eggs in the saucepan (it does not matter if it is 2 or 12 eggs, as this way works with any amount). Just cover them with cold water, not too deep. Do NOT salt the water. Place on burner on HIGH heat. Once they start to boil turn on the timer to 3 minutes.

When the timer goes off, quickly take off the heat, put on lid and reset the timer to 8 minutes.

When 8 minutes are up, remove from hot water, take to sink and run cold water over them for about a minute, let them soak a bit to cool off. They will peel best if you set them in the refrigerator for about 1/2 to 1 hour, but you can eat them now!
