Peru Com Bacon

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a Brazilian appetizer and is my take on something I had at a Brazilian restaurant in Colorado. They are very flavorful, but they must be watched carefully to make sure that they are not overcooked.
Ingredients You'll Need
20 oz skinless boneless turkey
breast
½ cup real maple syrup
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 lb package bacon (20 slices)
Directions
Cut up the turkey breast into big bite-size pieces about 1 oz each and toss them in a mixture of the maple syrup, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and cayenne.
Wrap each piece in a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick, and broil them for about 15 minutes until cooked all the way through and the bacon is crispy on the edges.
Serve immediately.
