Why I Love This Recipe

Leave the pepperoni out for a vegetarian meal, add any veggies or other meats as desired

Ingredients You'll Need

18 Frozen Dinner Rolls
36 Pepperoni Slices, Cut In Half
1 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 1/2 Tbsp Parmesan, Shredded

Directions

Oven Temperature: 350°F

*Set the rolls out on a baking pan 5 hours before you want to make dinner; lightly coat the pan with cooking spray; set each roll on the pan, then lightly spray the top of each one

*Loosely cover with plastic wrap and set out in a warm place (if your house is very warm, or you set these near a heated oven, they will thaw and rise faster)

*Preheat 350 degrees; carefully take one risen roll from the pan (it will deflate a little when touched); hold it in the palm of one hand upside down, create a hole pocket in the bottom; set 2 pepperonis and roughly 1 Tbsp of cheese inside (however much you can fit in there and want to have inside)

*Tuck the hole back together and twist to secure

*Repeat this process for each roll, place it seam side down back on the baking pan as you go; when all are complete, melt the butter and brush it over the rolls, sprinkle with garlic, italian seasoning, and parmesan

*Bake 12-15 minutes or until slightly brown on top; warm marinara sauce until bubbly in a pan; serve with the rolls

Recipe Tips

*You can use your favorite dough recipe in place of the frozen dinner rolls
