Drink FOR your health with a glass of this great beverage. The flavor is so bright & fresh that it out-shines many store-bought beverages. Ginger aids digestion, chia seeds add fiber, lime adds a kick of vitamin c & pomegranate is packed with antioxidants. If you're looking to quit cola/soda, this is a fantastically flavorful drink for you. It's so easy to make, you can mix it up in minutes & keep it on hand in the fridge to cool down with big flavor at any time.
Ingredients You'll Need
¼ cup pure, unsweetened pomegranate juice
1 and 1/3 cup filtered water OR sparkling water
1 and ½ tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp agave nectar OR 1 and ½ tsp honey OR ½ tsp stevia
1 tbsp MySeeds chia gel
1 tbsp pomegranate arils
¼ inch thickness ginger slice (depends on ginger diameter)
Directions
First, add your pomegranate juice, and water to your glass. Squeeze in the lime juice.
Stir in the chia seed gel and sweetener of choice until all the sweetener has dissolved.
Cut the ginger root & place the piece in your garlic press. Squeeze the press over the drink to produce drops of ginger juice. About 5 to 8 drops of juice (to taste) add a great flavor complexity.
Add the tablespoon of pomegranate arils (optional) for the look you see here, and more fiber.
