1 onion (chopped)
1 green bell pepper (chopped)
1 rib celery (chopped)
3 c. cubed rye bread
1 red apples (chopped)
1 green apple chopped
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 c. raisins
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
1/4 c. hot water
6 pork chops (about 1 inch)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine onion, celery, bread, apples, 3/4 cup cheese, raisins and eggs.
Dissolve bouillon cube; add to mixture.
Blend well.
Put mixture into greased roasting pan.
Trim fat from pork.
Place in pan on top of mixture.
Bake 35 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup cheese over chops and bake 10 minutes until chops are cooked through.
