Potatoe Soup Quick and Easy

Why I Love This Recipe
It was a little chilly this morning so decided to cook this. This is my moms recipe. You can add about a cup of instant mashed potatoes to thicken soup
Ingredients You'll Need
5lb.bag of potatoes
1 large onion
1 to 2 sticks of butter or margerine
2 cans of evaporated milk
water
salt and pepper
Directions
Peel potatoes and cut into chunks large or small your preferance. Dice onion. Put potatoes and onion in large pot. In large pot place potatoes and onions cover with water,add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil on med.high. Cook until potatoes are barely done,about 15 to 20 minutes.
