Pumpkin Bread

Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
2 eggs
¼ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup light molasses
1 can pumpkin (not pie filling)
2 cups finely ground whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. each, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg
½ cup raisins
½ cup chopped nuts
Directions
Grease a 4x9x3 inch loaf pan.
Beat eggs and add oil, molasses, and pumpkin.
Mix thoroughly.
Sift together all remaining ingredients except raisins and nuts.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan, filling to about ¾ full.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for about 60 to 70 minutes or until done.
(After the first 45 minutes, if bread is browning too quickly, reduce temperature to 300° for the remaining 25 minutes.)
Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
