Why I Love This Recipe

*note: I would NOT recommend Brioche for this recipe unless you wanted to slice and dip the bread for a few minutes immediately before frying. If left to soak over night, Brioche will become oversaturate and fall apart miserably and you will cry.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 loaf "old" French or Italian bread*
3-4 eggs
1/2 can pumpkin
a pint of egg nog (full fat)
splash of Madagascar vanilla
cinnamon, nutmeg if desired

Directions

Soak the bread overnight in the egg mixture (all the other ingredients whisked).

In the morning, just pull it out and throw them on the griddle! Of course, since you're using eggs be sure to cook them throughly. They are delicious on their own or with butter and maple syrup.
