I love to make Flan in all Different Flavors... So I SAID WHY NOT Pumpkin Flan?
Great Dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 Can of Evaporated Milk
1 Can of Condensed Milk
1 Can of Pumpkin Puree
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
add a dash of Cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
add some brown sugar or white granulated sugar (AGAVE NECTAR CAN BE USED AS WELL)
To make the flan mold, heat up 1 cup of sugar in a aluminum container on very low heat. add a few drops of water to the sugar to help dissolve faster, let the sugar dissolve and move around with a wooden chopstick.
you will need a pot of HOT WATER for Base to the aluminium pan (VeryImportant!!!)make sure that the pot of hot water is big enough to surround the aluminum pan.
When the sugar is melted all the way , place it right away on the Hot Water... that way it will keep the sugar soft and not crack. Place the mold inside and pour the flan mixture inside the mold. Cook on 375*
