Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe came to me because I love pound cake and I had this same kind at Starbucks and decided that I had to learn how to make it. I think this one is totally better than Starbucks kind. Well I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients You'll Need

1½cups unbleached flour
½tsp ground cinnamon
½tsp baking soda
½tsp baking powder
½tsp salt
¼tsp ground cloves
¼tsp nutmeg
3egg whites
1½cups sugar
½cup vanilla yogurt
1cup canned pumpkin;


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cloves, and nutmeg, into medium bowl; set aside. Whisk together egg whites, sugar, and yogurt in large bowl until thoroughly blended; stir in pumpkin. Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture until no flour is visible. Pour batter into nonstick loaf pan lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, about 55min.-1hour. Cool in pan on rack 10min. Remove from pan; cool on rack completely, about 2hours. Cut and garnish as desired. Enjoy!
