Serves 4 | Prep Time 5 min PT5M | Cook Time 3-5 min PT9M | Appetizer / Asian

Why I Love This Recipe

Featuring: Pac choi, green onions and garlic (or garlic scapes)

Quick and easy side dish that all my family loves - not too spicy unlike my name suggested.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 pac choi, cut in two lengthwise
1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, crushed (or 1 garlic scape, chopped finely)
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

In a small bowl, combine sesame oil (1 tablespoon), soy sauce, garlic and chili flakes. Set aside.

Cut pac choi lengthways in halves. Heat 1 teaspoon of sesame oil in a frying pan. When oil is hot, add pac choi (side down). Fry about 3-5 minutes. Transfer to serving bowl. Drizzle over the dressing. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
