Why I Love This Recipe

A one dish meal.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 T oil
1 lb boneless pork, cut in 1" cubes
20 oz can pineapple chunks, in juice
1/2 c karo syrup, light or dark
1/4 c cider vinegar
2 T catsup
2 T soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
2 T cornstarch
2 T water
Hot cooked rice or Chinese noodles

Directions

In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork; brown on all sides. Add pineapple, syrup, vinegar, catsup, soy sauce and garlic. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, until pork is tender. Add green pepper. Mix cornstarch and water; stir into pork mixture. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat; boil 1 minute. Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.
