"Quick and easy, stick to your ribs crock pot"

Serves 30 & 50 | Prep Time 15 minutes | Cook Time 4 hours

Why I Love This Recipe

This crock pot chicken is tender, juicy, simple to prepare, and packed with flavor. Add your favorite Southern side dishes and you've got a meal that's sure to please.

Ingredients You'll Need

Ingredients for 30 servings:
10 lbs. boneless chicken
4 dry envelope of ranch seasoning
4 dry envelope of Au Jus seasoning
1 stick butter
2 jars sliced banana peppers
Corn starch to thicken, if desired

Ingredients for 50 servings:
16 lbs. boneless chicken
6 dry envelope of ranch seasoning
6 dry envelope of Au Jus seasoning
1 1/2 stick butter
3jars sliced banana peppers
Corn starch to thicken, if desired

In a lined crock pot(s), add chicken, Au Jus packet, ranch seasoning packet, and butter.

Drain banana peppers but reserve the liquid. Set banana peppers aside and refrigerate. Pour liquid over chicken and spice mixture.

Cook in crock pot on High for 3-4 hours or until chicken is cooked.

When chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 F, turn heat to Warm.

Stir well and add reserved banana peppers.

If you prefer a thicker sauce, add cornstarch slurry (cornstarch and small amount cold water, whisked) to bubbling liquid and stir well until thickened.

Pairs Well With

Grits, mashed potatoes, baked beans, sweet corn, fried okra, potato wedges.
