Why I Love This Recipe

Did you know kiwis were initially called ‘Chinese gooseberries’ before their renaming in the 20th century? Their rich vitamin C content makes them great immune boosters.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup melon, cubed
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 cup orange segments
1 cup watermelon, cubed
2 tablespoons honey (optional, divided)
1 teaspoon lime juice (optional)

Directions

Organize and prepare all fruits: Hulled and slice the strawberries, cube the melon and watermelon, peel and slice the kiwis, and segment the oranges.

In a serving bowl, arrange the fruits in layers, starting with strawberries, followed by melon, kiwi, oranges, and ending with watermelon.

Optional step: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over each layer to enhance the natural sweetness and add the lime juice to the top layer for a tangy twist.

Chill the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Gently mix the bowl before serving if you prefer an even distribution of flavors, or serve as layered for aesthetic. Enjoy!

Pairs Well With

Pairs wonderfully with a light Riesling wine or a refreshing lime spritzer.
