Why I Love This Recipe

I have included this as it is in some of my recipes. I had all the spices, so it stops me having to buy yet another spice.


Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 teaspoons ground cardamon (I ground the pods up)
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 teaspoons ground coriander
2 nutmegs, freshly ground or 6 teaspoons ground nutmeg.


Directions

Combine the spices in a clean jar, seal and store in a cool, dark, place.
alternatively, buy the whole spices and grind them in a spice grinder (except the nutmeg as this may break the grinder - you need to grind this yourself)
