Why I Love This Recipe

I make this dip at New Year's because I was once looking for a good recipe to take to some friends' party. I had just read an article where they listed different foods people ate for luck on New year's Day. Many of the foods were not readliy available in my little burgh. I found sauerkraut as one of the foods and thought "AHA!" because that is pretty common. A lady I worked with had this recipe and now it is a staple at the annual NYs Eve party.

Ingredients You'll Need

8oz cream cheese, cut into bits
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup drained sauerkraut, chopped
1/2 lb corned beef, chopped fine
1 small onion, shopped
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 tsp spicy brown mustard
1 cup grated swiss cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven to 375.

Combine all ingredients and stir well.

Bake in a covered casserole for 30 minutes, or until edges start to bubble.

Remove cover and bake until golden brown.
