Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2/3 cup long grain rice
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
2 tbsp margarine or butter
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp dried sage crushed
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Directions
1. In a medium sauce pan cook mushrooms rice and green pepper in margarine until green pepper is tender.
2. Remove from heat, stir in broth, water, sage and pepper.
3. Bring to a bowl reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 15 mins or until tender
4. Remove from heat let stand covered for 5 minutes
5. Fluff with a fork. Sprinkle cheese.
