Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup sliced, fresh mushrooms
2/3 cup long-grain rice
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1/4 Tsp. dried sage, crushed
1/8 Tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
Directions
1. in a medium saucepan, cook mushrooms, rice, and green pepper in margarine until green pepper is tender; remove from heat
2. stir in broth, water, sage, and pepper, bring to a boil, reduce heat
3. cover and simmer for about 15 mins or until tender
4. remove fro heat
5. let stand, covered, for 5 mins; fluff with a fork and sprinkle with cheese
