Why I Love This Recipe

I learned to make guacamole dip while in high school working for a Mexican restaurant, where I continued part time through my first two years of college. Turns out working in the food service industry is a STRONG motivator to finish engineering school. Lots of times people wouldn’t show up for work, so I could pretty much work as many hours as I wanted. This recipe tastes great and is very easy to make!

Ingredients You'll Need

6 large avocados
1 medium sized red onion
1 jalapeno pepper
1 large lime
Cilantro (fresh or dried leaves)

Cut avocados in half and remove seeds. Use large spoon to remove avocado from skin, and place in mixing bowl. Dice red onion and jalapeno pepper and add to mixing bowl. Cut lime in half and squeeze all of the lime juice into the mixing bowl. Use wire whip to mix all ingredients. Add cilantro and salt to taste.
