Why I Love This Recipe

This bubbly, gooey, melty treat is something that is close to the hearts of any good Southern family. Perfect for potlucks, after-church luncheons, holidays and whenever you need a nostalgic pick-me-up. Soft and easy to eat with braces, this is proof that you don't have to deprive yourself just because your rocking some new hardware.

Ingredients You'll Need

1- Box of 4 Cheese Deluxe Mac and Cheese (Kraft)
1- 8 oz. Bag Borden Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1- 8 oz. Bag Borden Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 Large Egg
1/2 Gallon of Milk ( Whole, 2% or 1%)
1 Stick of Blue Bonnet Butter
Salt and Pepper (to taste)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Boil noodles according to box instructions (8-10 min.) until soft.

Drain the excess water and place cooked noodles into a baking pan.

Combine egg, cheese sauce from the box, butter and 6 oz. both cheddar and mozz. and mix with noodles.

Once well combined and beginning to melt, incorporate all milk and stir until creamy.

Add salt and pepper to taste and top with the remaining cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
