Why I Love This Recipe

Salted chocolate and caramel is all the current rage. You won’t be disappointed.


Ingredients You'll Need

12 oz. good quality dark chocolate chips or bars
8 oz. GF pretzel twists
11 oz. bag of caramel bits
Freshly ground sea salt


Directions

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt 1 c. of chocolate chips in microwave for 2 minutes at 50% power. Stir until smooth (continue to microwave if needed at 30 second intervals at 50% power). Spread chocolate evenly over the parchment paper. Immediately add the GF pretzel twists over the top, don’t worry if they overlap, press them into chocolate. Put caramel bits into a small bowl with 2 T. water and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well. Continue to microwave in 30 second intervals at high power until melted. Drizzle caramel over pretzels. Melt remaining chocolate the same as you did before and drizzle over top of caramel. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Refrigerate until hardened. Cut into
pieces as desired.
