SANSHIBO (PHONETIC SPELLING)

Why I Love This Recipe
I used to work with a Filipino man who was the cook in his home. Occasionally he would bring in some of his cooking. The name of this is as he pronounced it. This is his recipe. Everyone in the office loved it.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 1/2 cups flour
1 pkg fast action yeast
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
Add water to make a soft dough
about 1 pound of shredded Pork
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
2 1/2 cups flour
1 pkg fast action yeast
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp. sugar
Mix together.
or for non yeast dough
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
Add water to make a soft dough
Mix together
Filling
About 1 pound of shredded Pork
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Mix to taste in quantities enough to fill the dough
Take portions of dough and make a flat round of about 6 inches across. Put filling in centre and seal the dough to form a ball. Steam the balls in a steamer until done.
