Why I Love This Recipe

I used to make these when my kids were small. I miss the days when you could safely get this sort of thing at Halloween

Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup milk (magic ingredient, keeps 'em soft)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients (sugar through milk) in saucepan and cook till 220 degrees (not even 3 minutes)

Remove from heat and add the remaining 3 ingredients (baking soda through salt)

Pour over popped corn (about 1/2 cup unpopped).

Mix till covered, put into plastic baggies. Or you can butter your hands and while still quite warm form into balls. Be careful not to burn yourself.
