Why I Love This Recipe
As I love Spanakopitas I think these would be very similar but without the phyllo dough. The recipe does not say anything about beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrapper but I think it should. Marlene
Ingredients You'll Need
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
3/4 cup crumbled feta
1/2 tsp. Greek seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or less if you don't like too much garlic)
15-20 wonton wrappers
Mix all ingredients except wontons.
Place about 1 1/2 tsp of filling onto the centre of each wonton wrapper and then fold over the corners, overlapping them, to make a pillow. Place seam side down onto a greased baking sheet and spray each pillow well with cooking spray.
Bake for about 15-20 min, or until golden at 350F.
