STOVE TOP KETTLE POPCORN
Why I Love This Recipe
Both my husband and I like the sweet salty mix of kettle corn. This fills the bill when compared with the one you buy.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/3 cup vegetable oil - or a little less
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
3 Tbsp. sugar
salt to taste
In a pot on the stove put the oil and the popcorn on med low heat.
When it starts to sizzle, put in sugar, taking care to get as much sugar on the popcorn kernels as possible and not on the bottom of the pot.
Cover and shake until popping stops.
Carefully pour into a large bowl - remember the melted sugar is very sticky and HOT!
Toss with a wooden spoon as you sprinkle with salt.
