Ingredients You'll Need
4 med green peppers
1 lb. hamburger
2 C Cooked rice
1/4 C chopped onion
Salt & Pepper
1- 15oz. can tomato sauce
1 C shredded cheese
Directions
Wash peppers, halve lengthwese; remove seeds. Mix beef, rice, onion and salt and pepper and 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce. Pile into pepper halves, top with cheese. Arrange in a shallow baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
This is my Sister In Laws recipe. She has made it for years and is always a big hit, especially at carry-in dinners. Always an empty dish.
