Just the right BBQ flavor, spicy but not hot.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 TB PREPARED HICKORY BBQ SAUCE
½ STICK BUTTER
2 TB MINCED ONION
2 TB MINCED GARLIC
1 TB BROWN SUGAR
2 TB CIDER VINEGAR
1 C. CATSUP
12 CHICKEN WINGS
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet or pan with aluminum foil, and spray with Pam. Add chicken wings to prepared baking sheet or pan. Salt and Pepper the chicken wings. Put wings in the oven for 15 to 16 minutes. Now make the BBQ sauce. In skillet add butter, garlic, onion. Salute until onion and garlic until very soft, mix in brown sugar and vinegar, and stir a couple of minutes. Add the prepared BBQ sauce, I like Hunts Hickory sauce. Stir well, then add catsup. Add the hot sauce according to you taste for heat. I use about 6 or 7 drops. This is mild. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes. Take wings out of oven and brush you sauce over each wing. Put back into oven for 8 minutes. Take out of oven, turn each wing and brush BBQ over each one. Return to oven for another 8-10 minutes. Serve right away hot. (I use a convection oven, so if using a regular oven, you may need a extra 5-10 minutes cooking time) Better than the wing places.
